They'll see it, too

"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."--Eleanor Roosevelt This is one of those overused quotes that actually resonates. Must be why it's used so often. Basically, it's a kind of backwards way to say Yours is the only opinion of you that matters. If you think badly of yourself, you're going to let others treat you like you are inferior to them. If you think well of yourself, you're not going to let anybody tell you you shouldn't. There's a line in a song that I've recently discovered by one of my favorite musicians: Sara Bareilles. Beautiful Girl--Sara Bareilles   "Take it from me that you have to see it first." By it, she's referring to your beauty. Whatever it is that makes you beautiful, you are the one whose discovery of it matters the most. Go Russia!) I was never great at taking risks. I don't know if it's the fear of falling flat on my face, or the feeling that after, life will never be the same. Like Frodo, after his great journey, I can't imagine going back to regular life (not that I assume that my great journey will come to an end, at least in the same way his did. After all, his was a journey of particular necessity. After you're done destroying the one ring, what else is there to keep you in Mordor?). Who would want to? Though, I guess after a long road trip, all I want to do is go to sleep in my bed. But that's different, right? How do you know which risks are worth taking, and which you should pass by? Should you ...
